Case Study: Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) - CertNet / IndivNet

Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) is a worldwide surveillance organisation.

The founders of Xactaware have been working with SGS for over 12 years on a variety of projects.

Currently Xactaware develop and support the Certnet system for the SSC division of SGS - this system is used by SSC to manage the auditing of customers and issuance of certificates for standards such as ISO9000.

A variant of the Certnet system has also been deployed for the Industrial division of SGS (Indiv) in New Zealand - this system is used by SGS NZ to manage the Inspection of industrial equipment such as cranes and lifts and also ships.

Case Study: TUI Specialist Tour Operations (STO) - Sapphire

TUI Specialist Tour Operations (STO) is a division of TUI.

Xactaware has been providing software services to TUI STO for over 8 years in a variety of ways.

To help maximise sales profitability and control activities in resort, Xactaware worked with TUI STO to develop an in-resort web-based system called Sapphire.

This system allows reps in resort to log local sales information (e.g. ski hire, tuition, lift passes, etc), clear credit card payments, manage supplier payments, manage cash and other rep activites in an efficient and cost-effective way.

The Sapphire system generated an increase of gross profit on in-resort sales of 5% in its first year of use.

Xactaware has now produced a generic version of this system named EasyRep that is being actively marketed to the tourism industry.

Case Study: Esprit Holidays - EasyRep

Esprit Holidays is a ski specialist tour operator.

Xactaware developed and hosts an in-resort web-based system for Esprit Holidays called EasyRep.

Case Study: Davy Process Technology (DPT) - PAS II

Davy Process Technology develops and licences advanced process technologies for the oil and gas, petrochemicals, commodity chemicals and fine chemical industries.

Xactaware were commissioned to develop a replacement for DPT's existing Project Accounting System (PAS) which had reached the end of its useful life.

The replacement PAS II system is much more flexible than their previous system and automatcially integrates with DPT's Agresso accounting system.

Case Study: RedStone Business Centres - RedBook

RedStone Business Centres offer serviced office space and Managed office space to let and rent in Aylesbury and High Wycombe.

As part of these facilities RedStone offer meeting facilities and required a meeting room booking system to help manage these.

Xactaware developed and host a web facing system called RedBook for RedStone to provide the ability for RedStone clients to see availability and directly book meeting rooms through a fully automated interface.

Case Study: Mersey Docks and Harbour Company (MDHC) - Registration/Tracking

Port Of Liverpool & Meridian Publications Ltd.

The Mersey Docks and Harbour Company (MDHC) own the Port of Liverpool, the Medway Ports and other organisations.

The Port of Liverpool website is managed for MDHC by Meridian Publications Ltd and Xactaware have worked in co-operation with Meridian to implement a registration and tracking facility within the website.

This facility enables the marketing department of MDHC to analyse the type of company who browse specific parts of the site and with what frequency they hit certain areas.
