Xactaware is a specialist integrator of existing IT systems to new developments especially web-based distributive solutions.
History
Xactaware was formally launched in 1999 by Richard Andrews and Richard Williams as a natural development of a co-operative relationship between the two founders that dates back to 1996.
The current Xactaware head office is in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Financials
Xactaware leapt straight to a position of good revenues and healthy financial position from its outset.
This was as a result of the business starting out with a key contract with SGS from the outset.
It then quickly won an on-going contract with TUI that guaranteed good revenues in its second year of trading.
This established a healthy trading balance in the business that has continued to the present day.
Xactaware has kept its revenues steady through the troubled period the IT industry has been experiencing over the last few years by maintaining good income streams from existing clients and adding new clients to broaden its base.
It has also invested heavily in R&D and product development in order to reach the current position where Xactaware is ready to launch a strong marketing intiative in its established markets.
Objectives
Xactaware is making the transition from a largely bespoke development portfolio to offering a range of tailored solutions in its core market sectors.
To support this initiative Xactaware has expanded its team to give a more balanced marketing led structure.
It is also forging alliances with other organisations to supply the most appropriate and technologically advanced solutions.
